Jacki Gehring
Jacki has been a decorative painter for over 20 years even before she knew there was a name for her style of painting. She sells her work at various Fine Arts and Crafts shows throughout the state of Florida and was an instructor at Michaels stores.
As a member of the National Society of Decorative Painters and the Heart of Pinellas Decorative Artists, she has studied under a number of Certified National Decorative Painters.
Being self-taught before she discovered the Society of Decorative Painters, she enjoys doing things her own way and encourages her students to do the same. She believes in learning a new technique and then tweaking it to fit the individuals painting style and needs. Her motto is “if it doesn’t move, she will try to paint it!” She is currently creating works of art on throw away items.
